Yepp (2009 - present)
innovative product development
Right after the takeover of GMG at the end of 2007, work began with Van der Veer Designers to design one of the most innovative series of bike seats.
It had to be a completely new lifestyle product totally unprecedented, with state-of-the-art materials, optimal ergonomics and comfort. The decision to use the material EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate), famous due to its use for Crocs shoes, appeared to be the perfect match for the design. The result was Yepp: a revolutionary design, ergonomic, insulating, shock-absorbing, completely waterproof and with an integrated anti-theft lock. Separate cushions are no longer necessary and the 5-point belt ensures every child is safe and comfortable in the seat. In 2010, the Yepp Mini followed, for children aged between 9 months and 3 years.
Yepp - after the Bobike in the mid-80s - appeared to be the new game changer that left the competition trailing behind.
